The Facilities
For meetings, advice and guidance drop-ins, learning and training, presentations or counselling, this unique building is there for the local community. A warm, friendly welcome is guaranteed for people of all faiths or none.
The Hunter Room
The Hunter Room is equipped with the latest presentation equipment and the furniture can be configured to suit individual needs. Forty people can be seated theatre-style facing the screen and up to twenty four around a boardroom or smaller tables. The Premises Manager is on hand to discuss and action each client's preferred option.
With large windows and a ceiling lantern, The Hunter Room benefits from day-long natural light. Ceiling fans, which can be set to extract or to draw in fresh air, complement the underfloor heating to maintain a comfortable temperature.
The Study
Small meetings, advice, and counselling sessions work well in The Study. Presentation equipment is available for use in this room on request. With telephone and broadband connections, the room is also offered as a 'hot-desk' office.
Refreshments
Booking either or both meeting rooms includes use of the kitchen for the preparation of drinks or for setting out buffets delivered by outside caterers. Fair Trade tea and coffee can be provided for a small charge.
The St James' Church Coffee Shop is open to Centre users and members of the public several mornings a week, serving a variety of teas, filter coffees and home-made cakes within the main Church building.
